In May, Evergreen Events had the pleasure of collaborating with the Arkansas Cinema Society on an exclusive sneak preview screening of the season finale of the Apple TV+ series, Palm Royale, featuring special guest Josh Lucas.
The day before the season finale episode dropped on Apple TV+, guests were treated to a special event that included a cocktail hour, screening, and a Q&A with actor Josh Lucas and executive producer Jayme Lemons, all held at the newly renovated Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.
Evergreen Events managed all travel logistics and hospitality for the special guests while also planning the pre-screening cocktail party. The Arkansas Cinema Society hosts numerous screenings and events throughout the year, so Evergreen’s job was to add unique touches to make this event truly special.
Set in 1969 Palm Beach, Palm Royale provided all the inspiration needed to create a few memorable moments.
Guests were invited to dress in their Palm Beach best, embracing the show's vintage charm and elegance. We saw an array of stylish outfits that captured the essence of the era, from chic sundresses and wide-brimmed hats to crisp suits and loafers. This dress code added a fun, immersive element, making attendees feel like they had stepped straight into the world of Palm Royale.
The Grasshopper, a classic 1960s drink and a favorite of Palm Royale members, was the star of the cocktail hour. This creamy, mint-flavored cocktail, made with crème de menthe, crème de cacao, and cream, was chosen for its nostalgic appeal and connection to the era depicted in Palm Royale. Guests enjoyed sipping this refreshing drink, and many commented on how its retro vibe perfectly complemented the evening’s theme
Printed with The Grasshopper recipe, these napkins allowed guests to take a piece of the show home. The napkins were even featured in the event’s spread in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s High Profile section.
To allow guests to move freely between the Performing Arts Theater and the cocktail hour in the Atrium, we created special stickers designed to look like the membership cards carried by Palm Royale members.
The combination of these elements created an atmosphere that was both nostalgic and engaging, perfectly setting the stage for the evening’s main events.
The sneak preview screening of Palm Royale was a resounding success, with attendees enjoying the unique touches that made the event memorable.
